ABOUT LOK YAN

Chau Lok Yan Cathy (b.1996), studied in the Academic of Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University. Her paintings regarding the existence of objects in a space, explaining the close relationship between objects and space by using overlapping images and marks, and how they influence or interact with each other. Using a variety of media, from oil pastel and colour pencil to oil and acrylic paint, she tries to understand time and psychological state in a particular moment or place.
